“My life is certainly very different from what it was like one year ago. I’m a senior now, and so much has changed in my life. I only have one class that actually gives me homework (AP Government) and I can leave school at lunch, so I have so much more freetime. To spend some of that time, I got a job at Quarry Park. I mostly help harness people up and make sure that the little kids in the Kids Kove are being safe and wearing their masks. The weekends for me are actually less relaxing, due to the fact I have to work an eight hour shift. I also got my first serious girlfriend this year, we hang out before school and now during lunch since we are back onto the full schedule. My hobbies are the same as they have been, I’m a gamer. I have gotten more politcally active and radicalized over the summer. In my boredome I also created a YouTube channel and have taken up hobbies such as creating small booklets with politcal songs for my position to distribute. I have always wanted to start a YouTube channel ever since I was very young and figured out what YouTube was. I wanted to play games on YouTube, I even made a strange habit of talking as I play games even though there was no one listening to me. I would explain my thought process and explain the game’s mechanics to an imaginary audience. I had an idea to focus on gaming and occasionally take deeper dives into real issues. I am very proud of my humble youtube channel, Lefty Leftist, of seven subscribers.”

“When I graduate highschool, I’m going to go to Sierra College for a couple of years and then I’ll transfer to a four year college, probably UC Santa Cruz. I’m not too sure what I’ll major in, but I am interested in History, Creative Writing and Political Science. If there is a degree for broadcasting or something that covers making videos for platforms such as Youtube, I might minor in that. I dont know what job I want after college, but I always thought that being a history professor could be cool. I’ve also always wanted to write books and stories, so being an author or a storywriter for video games would be nice as well. Whatever I decide to do, I want to be politcally active with my work. Whatever the future holds for me, I’ll take it. Hopefully it doesn’t suck.”
