MTS (Manitoba Teacher’s Society) Warming Hut

Carpentry, machine and welding technology students at Tec Voc High School built a replica of a one-room schoolhouse to help commemorate the MTS 100th Anniversary this year.

The schoolhouse, designed by students in the design and drafting program, will spend the winter season on The Red River Mutual Trail (river trail) at The Forks.

Inside, the schoolhouse is equipped with benches and a little free library, stocked with a variety of books. 
