CLASSICS This season, Jonathan Charles is moving forward with several exciting new introductions, and looking toward the future with an eye on the fine craftsmanship of the past. These new designs present options that are sure to become timeless classics, complementing a range of styles from American neoclassicism to Hollywood glamour.

FRENCH CONNECTION 1. TOULOUSE PARQUETRY CABINET This cabinet features parquetry, a decorative technique borrowed from the Baroque era. It is crafted from American walnut solids and veneers, lacquered to a high gloss finish and elegantly accented by hints of hand rubbed cast brass hardware.
2. TOULOUSE US QUEEN BED An excellent night’s sleep awaits in this bed frame constructed of classic American walnut. The frame features figured walnut veneer and brass legs, crowned by an inviting headboard upholstered in finely tailored woven fabric.
3. TOULOUSE ACCENT CHAIR This elegant yet practical accent chair is constructed of a study hardwood frame, with curvaceous lines that are finely upholstered in a Jonathan Charles performance fabric.

Its legs are solid walnut with brass hardware cast in the Jonathan Charles foundry, where it is acid dipped and hand rubbed for a rich, natural patina.

Inspired by the ornamentation of Hollywood Regency style, this piece features a faux tortoise shell surface decorated in an antiqued gold leaf ring pattern. NEW & NOTEWORTHY This spring season is all about new beginnings! Rowe is introducing several brand new frame styles, as well as launching our signature My Rowe Design program in a fresh new direction. We've added an interactive twist to this popular design challenge, reimagining it as a creative competition amongst an elite group of designers featuring projects that include their favorite Rowe products. Ten finalists will be showcased at market, culminating in the selection of three winners via in-person and online voting. These three "best of the best" will each receive a Rowe product credit to be used to make their future design dreams a reality. STEPHANIE KRAUS DESIGNS PHILADELPHIA, PA Stephanie Kraus brings her signature bold neutral patterns and exciting bursts of color to each one of her timeless interiors, offering a modern take on traditional, high-end luxury design. Her full-service residential interior design studio serves clients along the East Coast, from Pennsylvania to the Jersey Shore. Stephanie’s dramatic interiors have been featured in several national magazines such as Architectural Digest, Style at Home, Clientele Luxury and HGTV Magazine.

FRENCH AND FRENCH INTERIORS SANTA FE, NM Heather and Matt French are the co-founders and lead designers of French & French Interiors, a Santa Fe, NM-based interior design firm specializing in soulful and eclectic high-end design. The husband and wife duo enjoy customizing designs for their residential and hospitality clients, and believe that design is about more than just the “pretty things.” Their specialty is well thought-out spaces that solve a problem and allow for shared human experiences on a deeper level.

PEPPEARD DESIGN ST. CHARLES, IL Shannon Peppeard studied at the Harrington College of Design but began her career in the financial sector, while continuing to practice her considerable design talent on friends and family homes. She eventually pivoted to full-time interior design in 2006, developing a signature style that makes sure every space is a reflection of the client’s needs and desires, while incorporating a timeless classic aesthetic.

CHRISTINA KIM INTERIOR DESIGN MANASQUAN, NJ Christina Kim is an interior designer specializing in residential interiors with a modern edge. WENDY MAURO DESIGN CHARLESTON, SC Inspired by her passion for design, Wendy Mauro’s goal is to create a unique style to fit the functional needs of her clients considering their personal space and aesthetic. Working mainly in a modern traditional foundation, she creates a balance of classic elements with personal selections. Wendy assists in all aspects of the client experience, from architectural design layout and renovations to interior finishes and home sale preparation.

Our story begins with family. The Markor tradition of excellence begins with a family fascinated by artistry and design, whose shared vision created a company that grew into the modern incarnation of House of Markor. “It all started with my grandparents,” says Mark Feng, President of Markor International. Mark’s grandfather worked as an actor and scenic designer, while his grandmother was a makeup artist. In a childhood surrounded by the creative arts, Mark’s father grew up assisting his father with tasks on his movie sets, developing a deep and lasting passion for all things design related. To make ends meet after graduating college with a degree in oil painting, he chose the natural path of becoming an interior designer. “Design is our family’s passion,” says Mark, “and it’s in our DNA.” The success of his father’s interior design business allowed him to launch his furniture business, Markor — named for the marker pens he so loved to sketch with. “And naturally,” Mark explains with a wink, “he named me Mark.” The creative dedication that began in the time of Mark’s grandfather became a trait that passed from father to son, not once but twice. “We are a family of design fanatics obsessed with the Art of Living,” says Mark,

I chose this piece because... This is a townhome project and I wanted to create a boutique hotel feeling in a room. I love how functional and dark the Faber bed is. The plug in lights really help eliminate the addition of extra side table lamps. I love all things dark in a bedroom but the boucle fabric on the headboard acts as a beautiful contrast to the dark features in the space. It also gives the room the cozy emotion and feel a master bedroom should have.
Chloe Leung has been in the design industry for 9 years since graduating with a Industrial Design degree from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. She is now a national award winning designer in Canada working with one of the biggest Home Builders in Canada. Having been to 50 plus countries, her inspiration for design draws upon her travels. Karrie Britton, a Charleston native, is an award-winning interior designer with more than 20 years in the business. She and her family own and operate Design Elements, a North Charleston, SC-based design studio dedicated to creating inviting residential and commercial interiors that are timeless and sophisticated. From full renovations and new construction to home staging or a simple refresh, Design Elements is committed to designing spaces that are a true reflection of each client.
This was a historical preservation project that I had the distinct privilege to design for the City of North Charleston, SC. The classic French lines and small frame of the Two Comfortable Loveseat was the perfect fit for the octagonal room. The light grey fabric and bright Tiffany blue satin pillows added just the right pop of color needed to bring this sun-soaked room to life. The loveseat pairs beautifully with the An Arm and a Leg Chairs and the Lucky Charm Side Tables. They add classic elegance with modern day flair to the freshly reimagined space, creating a room that anyone would want to wake up to.

Most would not think of sourcing from this line when they hear the words "historical preservation,” however this room — and many others in the house — proves that Caracole's classic lines, fun finishes and artful details can find their way into any home. I chose this piece because... This is a multi-functional space for a family of four. It serves as an office, an adult hangout space, a room to play music and a place for family movie nights. We knew we needed something comfortable, but from a design perspective we wanted a piece that was tailored and stylish. The Sylvie sofa was the perfect fit, since its clean lines fit the aesthetic of the space, but it’s comfortable enough for the whole family to curl up on.

I chose this piece because... I like the fact that the Rothko Chair can swivel around so my client can face the sofa for conversation or her beautiful view of the outdoors. The Sylvie is one of my favorite silhouettes and is transitional in many different design styles. The Ingrid Chair is fun with great comfort. Practicality was key for this family — which is why we used a Crypton performance on the sectional, as well as a washable slipcover on the accent chairs.

Celerie claims her childhood was in many ways a tutorial in interior decorating spent around construction sites, antique stores, and in the unique homes designed by her mother. A graduate of Harvard, Celerie worked briefly in film production and since then has spent the past 18 years cultivating a portfolio of much publicized work that is as unique and diverse as her clientele.

I chose this piece because... The Bywater Washed Acacia Bureau’s duck egg blue interior was such a moment of delight, and I knew when the cabinet doors were open, it would juxtapose beautifully against the golden yellow walls of the parlor. The Bywater Washed Acacia Buffet in the lobby was a generously proportioned piece that could hold its own in a room with high ceilings, and I love the bowed front and narrow fluting.
I love working with Jonathan Charles USA because... I love the silhouettes, especially of the William Yeoward collection. The details, the quality, and the finishes are always beautifully tied back to antique references.

The Rinfret Group is a collaboration between Denise Rinfret and Missy Rinfret Minicucci, based in Roslyn, NY. Denise, an ASID member, has been a designer for over 25 years. She founded Rinfret Interiors after graduating from the New York School of Interior Design. Missy began her interior design journey working for renowned fabric house Cowtan & Tout.
