oung entrepreneurs Yara Jameel Salman and her brother Mohamed Salman have turned their dream into reality in the form of MJ’s Bowling Lounge. This facility has generated a lot of excitement among bowling enthusiasts and provides an affordable yet top-of-therange gaming environment. MJ’s Bowling Lounge, located on Budaiya road, is a high-end gaming arena that brings in international level facilities. The bowling alley itself has big LED screens and soon, replicas of Formula One cars will also be installed. A restaurant serving gourmet food is planned for the venue along with a separate café. “Our aim is to use only the finest, high quality ingredients sourced from Italy such as air-dried beef breasola, fior de latte mozzarella,

shakes,” says Yara. Yara points out that she and her brother are aware of the discerning tastes of their customers and hope their premium quality will set them apart from the rest. The facilities at MJ’s are supposed to be the first of their kind in Bahrain, featuring one of the most innovative sound and light systems that will give customers the feeling of being in Las Vegas. The centre will also include a professional recording studio and some fine RnB beats from DJ Arvind. Professionally trained staff have been employed to deliver seamless customer service. Kolors, which has now replaced the popular Klouds restaurant, is set to appeal to the hotel’s guests and the island’s discerning diners who are always looking for something different and delectable. Portraying a vibrant new look and feel, the restaurant décor resembles an artistic gallery with colourful blinds and brightly decorated fixtures and artefacts. “The evolution of any business is mostly market-driven, and having studied the demands of the market and the feedback of our most regular guests, we embarked on this project,” shares general manager Volker Mandlowsky.
