Bahrain is among 20 countries around the world searching for the best two drivers to represent their country at the World Finals, which will take place at Austria’s Red Bull Ring in February 2015. Red Bull Kart Fight Bahrain qualifiers will be held at BIKC every day until December 4 and participation is open to all. The top 40 who set the best time will compete in the national final on

For all you petrol heads out there, here is an opportunity not to be missed as Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) hosts a whole day’s worth of action. The BIC National Racing Festival will take place on December 19 at the circuit and is set to feature three of the most popular locally bred racing series, including the Bahrain Drag Racing Championship, the BIC 2,000cc Challenge and the BMR 600 Championship. The Bahrain championship is expected to attract more than 100 competitors battling it out in 13 different competition categories for cars and motorbikes. The drag racing championship is sanctioned by the US-based National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) and BIC’s quarter-mile drag strip is a member of the prestigious NHRA Worldwide Network.
