The latest addition to the 16 UNESCO World Heritage sites in Muharraq, the venue is part of the ‘Pearling, Testimony of an Island Economy’ project that marks the history of the pearling trail. Visitors are taken through a timeline of the industry, recounting the life of a diver who first came into contact with pearls at the bottom of the ocean. The exhibition showcases the real-life conditions of low income workers in the pearling era. Doors open at 6pm on April 3.
