ocated on the Prescott campus of EmbryRiddle Aeronautical University, Northern Arizona’s only planetarium can project 360-degree, 4K imagery of the night and day sky and its heavenly bodies, the human body, favorite films or almost anything else onto its 47-foot diameter dome, using state-ofthe-art software to provide crisp, vivid visuals. With a seating capacity of 116, it has been an invaluable resource to ERAU students majoring in astronomy, biology, business, engineering, gaming and simulation science – it goes on down the list

engineering and math courses and careers by bringing them to the same rooms where current students and staff conduct research..

Numerous educational groups from around Prescott and the surrounding region have been brought in to the planetarium and eight laboratories which make up the STEM Education Center, engaging youth who might not have much contact with science, technology,

Shows for the general public are offered most Friday nights and Saturday afternoons, taking audiences from the edges of the universe to a close-up look at relative celestial neighbors. The planetarium can also show shared NASA content and coverage of major astronomical events, such as solar eclipses. There are even laser shows synchronized to the music of Led Zeppelin, Queen and other legendary bands.
