Ranon was born into a household where Judaism was not just a faith but a way of life. As the second of three children, he was raised in a suburban Detroit home that centered around the traditions and teachings of Orthodox Judaism. His father, a respected rabbi and scholar, and his mother, a dedicated and supportive presence, instilled a strong foundation of Jewish values in him. Rabbi Ranon Teller attended Orthodox Day School, where he received a rigorous education in Jewish law and customs before continuing his studies at Skokie Yeshiva High School near Chicago. His intellectual curiosity and deep connection to Jewish thought led him to Israel after graduation, where he immersed himself in an Orthodox yeshiva. There, he dedicated himself to studying the Talmud, Jewish philosophy, and sacred texts, expanding his understanding of Jewish law and spirituality. However, as he delved deeper into the religious world, questions and doubts began to arise, leading him on a path of self-discovery and transformation.
