In 2002, he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and later earned his Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internal Disorders in 2011. He trained in functional medicine and is also board-eligible in clinical nutrition. He has taught at three chiropractic colleges, serving as a professor, department chair, and associate dean.
