Meredith Goes Modular

To accommodate rising enrollment, the elementary school is adding modular classrooms

by Principal Lauren Overton, on behalf of the William M. Meredith School Advisory Council

I want to take this opportunity to update you on changes happening at the William M. Meredith School, located at 725 South Fifth Street. In order to keep pace with neighborhood development and increased demand for enrollment at Meredith, the School District of Philadelphia has agreed to invest in additional classroom space through the procurement and installation of modular classrooms.

Thank you to all who attended the QVNA Zoning meeting. There was a huge turnout, and the outpouring of support for this project was exciting. Thank you to QVNA for the support of this project, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the school and the neighborhood community.

On a side note, my time at Meredith has ended, as of August 1. However, I have been aiding in the transition to ensure that families and the community continue to be provided with updates regarding this project. I would like to thank you for your support during my time as the principal of the William M. Meredith School. It has been a pleasure to serve your community. ■
