EVANESCENCE Imogen Ferdinando Evanescence - ‘the condition of lasting for a short period of time’. Time is so precious, and we move between moments and experiences so quickly that sometimes we can only recall the essence of what was really felt. When I look back on my life, I want to know that I gave my all and that I chose to live my life with authenticity, vulnerability and honesty in each moment, sharing my experiences with those whom I love as that’s what makes life so special. I wrote this piece as a reminder to myself, and the listener, to stay present in this moment.
