WhenLori Alessandrini opened Essential Aesthetics & Laser in 2013, she had no idea the business would grow into what is now "The Million Dollar Laser Spa". She still strives to bring a personal touch to her practice, making each person feel as if they were a part of her family, with lasting results to match. Essential has grown from her own personal practice to a team of 13. Today, the state of the art facility and separate permanent makeup studio, are located in a beautiful complex in the Blakeney area. In an effort to combine technology and beauty, Alessandrini's practice utilizes the newest innovative approaches and treatments for a wide range of services. Recently, Lori launched her own skincare line "Essential Skincare" and has added Laser Classes for other licensed professionals to develop their skills. Unique to most other practices are their laser services. Essential houses over 1 Million Dollars worth of Laser technology. These services include laser hair removal, laser skin resurfacing, photofacials, tattoo and scar removal, and leg vein treatments. They were chosen out of every other med spa in the state to partner with Kim Kardashian in removing two facial tattoos for a North Carolina parolee. They continue to serve the community through their own program, Project Exodus. People coming out of the prison system looking for a better life can have gang related facial tattoos removed at no charge. When you step into Essential, you get the feeling that not only are they changing skin, they are changing lives.
