Danielle Knox, of Danielle Knox Interiors, is an architectural interior designer based in Davidson, North Carolina. She specializes in residential interior design. With this 2020 project, Danielle’s clients were a large, close knit family who love to entertain for special occasions and holidays. Danielle added ample storage for multiple sets of china and crystal, and created a welcoming space that is light, airy and balanced with classic, lasting design elements. “I wanted them to have that feeling of a respite to exhale and

relax as they walk into their beautiful home,” Danielle shares. The large, open linear lighting fills the 12-foot tall space beautifully without feeling too heavy, and the sisal wrapped walls lend an extra nod of attention to the added trim and window wall details. The chairs and buffet are Tritter Feefer, the chandelier is Visual Comfort from Darnell & Co., Elizabeth Bradford painted the watercolor art, the custom cabinetry is from The Hartley Group, Cornelius NC, and the sisal wallcovering is Thibaut.
