ODAY’S WOMAN FOUNDATION is proud to announce it has been selected as a 2026 California Nonprofit of the Year by Assemblymember Tom Lackey, District 34. The organization was among more than 100 nonprofits honored in Sacramento on May 20, 2026, by state senators and assemblymembers in recognition of their outstanding service and meaningful contributions to communities across California. Executive Director Cindy Bostick and President Melanie Ajanwachuku represented the organization at the State Capitol and were honored to attend as guests of Assemblymember Tom Lackey. Today’s Woman Foundation is dedicated to empowering women and strengthening communities through education, mentorship, advocacy, and access to essential resources. The organization works to inspire confidence, promote healing, and create opportunities for personal and professional growth for women of all backgrounds. Through community outreach programs, partnerships, and initiatives focused on wellness, economic empowerment, and social support, the organization continues to make a meaningful impact by helping
