Two USA BMX Pro races under 2024’s belt, and the rookie class is here to compete. An exciting new class of Rooks brings proven speed, untapped potential, and a battle-ready mentality to the season. As the top racers in the Men’s and Women’s Pro classes gear up for their Olympic run, the new kids are ready to capitalize. Each with their strengths, it will be the big hill confidence and a racers-race mentality that will transform them from Rookie to racer later in their careers. The rookie class debuted a few at the season opener in Sarasota, Florida, where Ava Corley, Cutter Williams, Drew Polk, and Michael Rech started their pro careers while the rest of the class waited for the desert racing at the legendary Black Mountain BMX. With a long season ahead, be on the lookout for the new racers to work their way up the ranks and fight to finish in the top five overall for that first-year payout at the end of 2024! Most importantly, make sure to take note of this year’s Rookie Pro class as you start to develop your pick for the 2024 Rookie Pro of the Year. From their social media presence, race results, style, and overall RADness, the Golden Cranks are in your hands leading up to the Pro Spectacular in Tulsa.
