The Kath Fry challenge is a fantastic outdoor pursuits inter-schools competition. It is hosted at Ghyll Head every spring and Our Lady’s has a long history of participation. Year 9 and year 10 students from schools across the city go on residential weekends and compete against each other to win the coveted prize and title.

This year, Mr Bell and Miss Massey led the group to the Lake District for a weekend of adventure. There was hill walking, night time expeditions, problem solving and lots of time spent having fun together. Although we didn’t bring back the coveted winners trophy we did bring back lots of happy memories and some rather good photographs.
