The mind behind those individuals who take extra care of their face, skin and bodies is Dr. Mauro Romita, a BoardCertified Plastic Surgeon who possesses over 30 years of experience in the field of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. As a masterful, modern aesthetic sculptor, Romita has been achieving greatness when addressing a patient’s concerns – whether it’s the face, breast and body, micro and craniofacial surgeries. He is known for the technical skill, training, and integrity that he brings to his patients and in his surgical practice. Following his initial graduation from the University of Miami School of Medicine, Romita did his residency training at New York University Medical Center. He then completed a comprehensive eight-year program in 1981, which included postgraduate fellowships in microsurgery and craniofacial surgery. As a certified member of the American Boards of General Surgery and Plastic Surgery, he is also a member of the American Society of Plastic
Surgeons and numerous professional societies. He also continues as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at New York Medical College. Noted for his exclusive location on Fifth Avenue, Romita pioneered many techniques throughout the past several decades. He has also been sought after for his unique approach to reversing the aging process through a keen appreciation of the synergy among medical disciplines. The guiding force of his approach is a concept called which he aptly named “Sequential Intervention,” whereby targeting and treating the early signs of aging, leaving a corrected result utilizing as many minimally invasive techniques, for as long as possible.
