Poetic Vibes Arts Foundation was founded in 2007 as an online hub to draw poets, spoken word artists and arts enthusiasts together to share their work with a community of artisans, regardless of their location. Since then our vision and interest expanded, as our online network grew. We became a registered entity in 2010 and later changed our status and name from Poetic Vibes to Poetic Vibes Arts Foundation. When we first launched our signature event series, "Synergia: a fusion of Art, Jazz and Poetry" in 2010 our goal was to showcase new talent and upcoming artists on stage and create a synergy with different artforms. We were passionate about this endeavour. In 2011, the opportunity came to coordinate the local arm of the global movement for change initiative, 100 Thousand Poets for Change (100TPC) and our desire to harmonise the arts heightened; artisans were coming together to promote peace and sustainability worldwide! This initiative embodied the essence of our mission and has since become the core of what we do. 100 Thousand Artisans for Change (TT) is a movement for social, environmental and economic change. hashtag: #100TAFC, #agentsforchange #agentsofchange We are a Non-Profit Organisation dedicated to raising awareness to the arts by: 1. Creating a platform/ for all artists; highlighting artisans in poetry, spoken word, visual art, photography, music, dance and 'arts' in general. 2. Networking and partnering with artists worldwide to build strong alliances and to foster growth in the cultural arena. 3. Facilitation, training & development of young artists and creatives 4.
