Business leaders from across the region attended the sellout event, which was organised by Platinum Media Group, and hosted by comedian, Alun Cochrane. The awards ceremony was made up of 16 categories, and recognised accomplishments made across all aspects of business, from personal successes to outstanding contributions. Maarten Hoffmann, Managing Director of Platinum Media Group, said: “This year, we received a record number of entries from all business sizes and sectors, with the standard of applications being very high. “It is a testament to the vital role that businesses across Sussex play in fostering economic growth and strengthening the fabric of our communities. To make the shortlist is a huge achievement and I’d like to congratulate all the winners and shortlisted finalists.” The event charity partner was Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton. Attendees on the night helped to raise £12,500 which will help improve the lives of sick children throughout Sussex.
