One-to-one sessions led by professional tutors - open to everyone aged 8yrs and over, at any level of experience.

Led by a professional singer, our choir is friendly, fun and a great way to meet new people.

Platform offers a wide range of weekly workshops and classes, with something for all ages. These are artist led, friendly and no experience is needed.

Sessions are offered on a Pay-What-You-Like basis allowing you to choose what to pay (see our website for suggested donation). Places must be booked in advance - book online, in person or by phone.

Join this relaxed group for a chat and cuppa whilst knitting, sewing or crocheting. Beginners welcome.

Art Factory Takeover

Tuesdays | 1-4pm

Learn the art of textile screen printing and print your own project with the help of Print Clan artists.

Tuesdays | 5-6.30pm

Art sessions for young people who enjoy drawing, painting, sculpture and design. A chance to experiment with materials and learn new techniques to make artworks.

We mark the end of this beautiful exhibition with a celebration of the people and stories featured. This hour-long event is co-produced with Thriving Places Easterhouse. Refreshments will be provided.

Made in easterhouse

a carnival of overlapping histories

Made in Easterhouse, Platform’s multiartform festival day returns this autumn – produced in collaboration with artist Ashanti Harris.

Sat 9 Sep | 2pm until late

Ashanti’s latest work, A Carnival of Overlapping Histories, will be presented at the festival and remain at Platform until December. It has been made with residents of North East Glasgow and celebrates the cultures and family histories of the Caribbean, Africa and Asia – and explores how these have entangled with Scotland’s own.

Live performance, music and workshops will be programmed around the immersive installation, to form a day long celebration of community and art.

EXHIBITION: A CARNIVAL OF OVERLAPPING HISTORIES

An exhibition of new work by Ashanti, presenting collaborative artworks of sculpture, collage and textiles created with Glasgow North East residents - depicting the stories shared.

Platform Café Bar

The Platform Café Bar is based on the ground floor of The Bridge and serves breakfast, lunch and snacks. We have some great coffee/tea and cake offers and there is a children’s menu available too.

With free WIFI it’s an ideal place to chill out, have a cuppa with a friend or do some work. Open Monday to Saturday from 9am-3pm and for the majority of evening events and shows.

Then one day, Prince comes to town, to host the Glitter Ball! He invites everyone to come and sing a song! The best singer will get to travel the world alongside the Prince. This is Cinderella’s chance to escape. But her evil stepmother has other ideas...

Join us for this family friendly Christmas show, packed full of songs, jokes and larger than life characters!
