Pier Paolo Pandolfi

Pier Paolo Pandolfi is a highly-regarded cancer researcher who has significantly impacted the oncology field. Originally from Rome, Italy, Pier Paolo attended the University of Perugia, where he earned his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. He later immigrated to the United States, where he now holds dual citizenship. Pier Paolo has spent his career dedicated to understanding the mechanisms that lead to cancer development, filing two patents and securing numerous research grants along the way. He is currently the Scientific Director and Principal Senior Scientist at the William N. Pennington Cancer Institute in Reno, Nevada. In addition to his research, Pier Paolo also invests in education and teaches courses to support the next generation of researchers. He enjoys sailing, hiking, reading, and listening to classical music in his free time.
