e is the first Sikh in 2012 to receive the Papal Knighthood of St Gregory the Great in recognition of his dedicated work for Roman Catholic and Sikh relations, and for his commitment to inter-faith dialogue on peace amongst people of all faiths. Very recently made an OBE in recognition of his unrelenting work over 40 years to promote world peace.
Incredibly articulate individual, and a retired civil and structural engineerwith 27 years of practice across 3 continents in the fields of engineering, town planning and housing. He is passionate about empowering individuals and organisations with common religious values through selfless service, education and exposure. Ladies and Gentleman, the Humanitarian Award goes to Bhai Sahib Bhai Dr Mohinder Singh OBE Bishop Dr Neville Wolliston flew over from Connecticut, USA in support of Bhai Sahib Bhai Mohinder Singh’s Humanitarian Award, following their meeting last year during the Bishop’s return to the city. The relationship formed between the Bishop and the Chairman was one of respect, humility and unity of faith.
