Since launching the firm in 1981, he has overseen the completion of numerous distinguished projects, including a 122-unit multi-residential development and other developments of 98, 45, and 46 units across the Keystone State. From his company's inception, his hands-on approach has steered its growth and facilitated the launch of ventures like Reed Concrete by providing essential startup funding. A graduate of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, he completed his carpentry studies in 1981, earning the highest distinction awarded annually to a single graduate since 1920. The college, founded in 1905 and catering to over 1,400 students, offers a range of associate degrees and certificate programs to prepare students for in-demand careers. During his college years, he was a team captain for the cross-country and indoor track teams, demonstrating early leadership qualities. His longstanding commitment to the institution is evident from his 14-year tenure on the Alumni Foundation and Association Boards, during which he also served as treasurer for about a decade. Married since 2002, he has two sons and a stepson, whom he has nurtured and mentored from a young age. Beyond his family, he has made significant contributions to youth development, coaching lacrosse for eight years and instilling values of perseverance and integrity. His dedication to Scouting is notable; he led his son's cub scout pack, served as an Assistant Boy Scout Leader, and was honored with the “Order of the Arrow” award in 2022, recognizing his commitment to the principles of Scouting. One of his proudest achievements was mentoring his son to receive the Eagle Scout Award in May 2024, an endeavor that underscored his role as both a father and a leader. His benevolence extends to his wider family and community.
