The Pepperdine Beacon

The Pepperdine Beacon is a student-led media and news organization committed to preserving and promoting the values and mission of the university laid out in George Pepperdine’s 1937 Dedicatory Address and the Affirmation Statement. We aim to expand the campus discourse by bringing students, faculty, and alumni from each of Pepperdine’s schools together in conversation—a conversation rooted in the university mission and values. Our goal is to facilitate bold and vigorous debate, fairly seek truth, and serve the Pepperdine community by promoting viewpoint diversity on campus.
