Pendleside Hospice exists to promote and enhance the quality of life for people with advancing long term and life limiting illnesses, as well as provide support for their families and carers. Pendleside Hospice offers specialist and holistic palliative care, which addresses the individual’s physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs. Care is underpinned by relevant research, best practice guidance and professional codes of conduct. The inpatient unit, outpatient service, health, wellbeing & rehabilitation department and family & bereavement support is free of charge to all those who reside in the Burnley and Pendle communities.
