aitlyn Maureen Conway and Nathan Watson Coffee were married Sept. 5, 2015. Father Kris von Maluski celebrated the Sacrament of Matrimony in the historic St. Mary's Catholic Church of Newport, R.I. He had asked Kait and Nate to write something about the love they shared that he read into their nuptials before they exchanged vows. Labor Day weekend began when arriving guests were met by a food truck at the bride's parents' summer home. Friday the groomsmen raced around Narragansett Bay in America's Cup 12 meter sailing yachts, while the bride's party lunched at the waterfront Clarke Cooke House. The groom's family hosted the rehearsal dinner at the Atlantic Beach Club followed by an after party for all the guests. Saturday afternoon the wedding was followed by a tented reception at the historic Eisenhower House overlooking Narragansett Bay. Guests dined on petite filet mignon and poached lobster tail, and danced the night away before seeing the newlyweds off with a parade of fiber optic sparklers. The bride is the daughter of Jim and Tara Conway of Dallas. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James M. Halligan of Old Bridge, N.J. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Conway of Clearwater, Fla. The groom is the son of Rusty and Maribeth Coffee of Dallas. He is the grandson of the late John Price Koons and Helen Jones Koons of University Park and Wynelle Watson White and the late Russell Weldon Coffee of Austin, Texas. The bride wore a white layered tulle ball gown designed by Monique Lhuillier with a sleeveless lace capelet and cathedral-length veil. The matron of honor was Helen Short and maid of honor was Jamey
Molberg. Bridesmaids included Helen Coffee, Susan Conway, Taylor Crute, Hallie Dawson, Mary Maxwell, Ferrell McDonald, Martha Mador, Jennie Sellers, Allie Smith, and Annie Shea. Best men were Luke Coffee and Ben Coffee. The groomsmen included Charlie Beecherl, James Beshara, Boone Brosseau, Jimmy Conway, Jason Farmer, Johnny Koons, Clark Thompson, Tommy McGuire, Martin Newman, and Taylor Gilpin. Trent Leon and Harbert Mulherrin were ushers. The bride is a graduate of Highland Park High School. She received a Bachelor of Art in advertising and communications from the University of Alabama. Kait is the art director at greenlight, an advertising agency, in Dallas. The groom is a graduate of Highland Park High School. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University. Nate works for Chief Oil & Gas as a landman in Dallas. Following their Riviera Mayan honeymoon, the couple have made Dallas their home.
