Paul Delacourt concluded his impressive 25-year tenure at the FBI in May 2021. He is currently the Managing Partner at Stratagem Consulting, LLC, where he leads a team specializing in executive consulting, including regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, business development, and cyber risk awareness. In addition, he is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Chicago Graham School, teaching a master's course in Intelligence and Analysis. He retired from the role of Assistant Director of the Strategic Realignment Program Management Office at FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC. Previously, Delacourt served as the Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI's Los Angeles field office. Over three years, he managed an executive team and oversaw operations, intelligence, and mission services, supervising nearly 1500 employees across the Central District of California. Before this, he spent three years as the special agent in charge of the FBI's Honolulu field office and had earlier roles in the Inspection Division at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C., where he led reviews of field offices, national programs, shooting incidents, and special projects. Delacourt began his FBI career in 1995 as a special agent assigned to the Chicago Division, focusing on gang and drug investigations. After the events of 9/11, he moved to the Counterterrorism program, working in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta, GA. His assignments included working with the Guantanamo Bay Task Force at FBI Headquarters, and he had deployments to Afghanistan, Qatar, and Iraq. He also served as the program manager for the Regime Crimes Liaison Office (RCLO), a Department of Justice Initiative tasked with investigating major war crimes.
