efined by the rhythm of its streets as much as its destinations, the Knox Street neighborhood is one of the most compelling urban districts in Dallas. Independent restaurants, boutiques, and cafés flourish alongside direct access to the Katy Trail. The interplay of walkability, landscape, and local culture creates a community that is both distinctly Dallas and continuously evolving. Rooted in that urban fabric, The Knox Hotel, Auberge Collection is part of a mixed-use district master plan by Woods Bagot, whose design reinforces the walkable character of the area through contextually scaled architecture and public open space that embrace the Katy Trail. The coming hotel’s stepped form responds to its urban locale, balancing a contemporary architectural expression that complements the surrounding enclave. Inside, Martin Brudnizki Design Studio brings a layered approach to the interiors, pairing rich materiality with considered details to create spaces that feel both refined and connected to the hotel’s architectural setting. Extending that design vision into everyday living, the residences at The Knox reflect the work of Dallas-based interior designer Chad Dorsey, whose understated approach balances warmth, craftsmanship, and modern livability. Generous floor plans, carefully selected materials, and tailored details create spaces that feel both elevated and intuitive. Dedicated entertaining areas, including bars and prep kitchens, sit alongside well-proportioned living spaces designed to accommodate art collections, furnishings, and everyday routines with equal ease. A restrained palette, custom millwork, and artisanal finishes reinforce an atmosphere of quiet sophistication, complemented by the personalized hospitality associated with Auberge.
