Sip and Support to Keep Kids in Sight Event On October 22, 2023, Partners for Pediatric Vision donors, board members, and guests enjoyed the Sip and Support to Keep Kids in Sight event which included Napa wines from Chateau Montelena, Altamura, Lamborn and Laurel Glen. The event raised funds for pediatric vision and education services. It was a beautiful afternoon along the ocean for this sold-out event to recognize the impact of services that provide comprehensive vision care for children ages birth to 18 with permanent vision loss and their families. On October 26th, Peninsula Seniors celebrated their 40th anniversary with a reception at the Scriba Family Center headquarters located at 602 Deep Valley Drive, Ste. #310, in RHE. Members, guests and local cities dignitaries, including 4th District Supervisor Janice Hahn; RHE Mayor Pro Tem Velveth; Mayor Pro Tem John Cruikshank of RPV; and other city officials were present to celebrate this special day. As the premier senior social organization in the South Bay area, Peninsula Seniors pride themselves as being the experts at “Making Life Fun” as their motto suggests for over 1,000 members and growing.
