WISCONSIN SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL

The Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival believes in the power of words and the stories they tell. Our exuberant celebration of brilliant theatre seeks to ignite a spark to empower and inspire artists, as well as enlighten and connect audiences and the community.

Our Festival is built on the values of engagement, growth, creativity, and community and has five major components: presenting quality mainstage shows, elevating playwrights and their ideas through our Improbable Fiction new works series, creating mentorship opportunities for aspiring artists in our Merely Players young performers’ troupe, supporting lifelong education initiatives with our classes and workshops for those K-12 and beyond, and engaging with our local theatre community and the community at large.

We are committed to celebrating theatre and our community through our programs and partnerships, and want this Festival to feel as though it belongs as much to as our neighbors and partners as it does to us. We sincerely thank you for engaging with us through attending this performance!
