WHEN
the homeowners of this story purchased their Belle River home, they were excited about its potential. Situated along the shores of Lake St. Clair, the property boasts a private beach and stunning views of the water. The house didn’t work for their needs, so they renovated and added additional square footage. Needing someone to take the lead on design and décor, the homeowners called in Francesca Fregapane-Millner of Façade Interiors & Furniture. We sat down with Francesca to discuss the project, her design philosophy, and her favourite part of the process. OUR HOMES: Tell us about this project. Francesca Fregapane-Millner: This was a major renovation. In terms of the scope of work, it was very much like a new build – almost everything was new. We were involved in everything, including room layouts, interior and exterior material selections, as well as the furnishing and décor. Continued on page 72
