Sam and Kezia Loudon are proud new parents of a baby daughter. Gaia Jane Loudon arrived two weeks early on the 7 December. Proud dad has announced she is happy and healthy.

Staff Farewells

Diana McNamara

Diana’s six year tenure as Department administrator comes to a conclusion at the end of 2020. Diana is a much loved member of the Mathematics and Social Sciences department and her cheery disposition will be missed by all that know her. Diana is moving north to Hikurangi to enjoy an early retirement.

Robert McAdam

Robert’s 40 year teaching career concludes at the end of 2020. We have been fortunate to have him working in our Technology Department for the past three years where he has been able to share his immense experience with his colleagues. We wish him well in retirement!

Jaclyn Bailey

Jaclyn has been working part time in the English and Drama Departments for the past 3 years. Her dream has been to operate her own business and next year she is stepping out to do just that. Our hope is that she will be just as successful in her entrepreneurial journey as she has been in teaching!

Jonas Lamarche

Jonas joined the college as a beginning teacher in 2019. For the past two years he has been developing his craft in the Science Department. Over this time, Jonas has grown into a strong teacher who develops positive relationships with his students and thrives on sharing his passion for all things Science. Jonas will be relocating to Wellington in 2021.

Lauren Bell

Lauren has been covering a fixed term maternity position in the Spanish Department for 2020. Staff and students alike have appreciated her effervescent personality and cheery ‘Ola’ as she greets you on entering her class. Lauren will be moving to Auckland in 2021.
