Orlando T White

Experienced student affairs professional Orlando T. White started his career as a hall director at Colorado State University-Pueblo before continuing as residential life building manager at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. He went on to serve as a residence life coordinator at the Art Institute of Philadelphia and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Orlando T. White spent over 8 years at UNLV, including more than 6 years as assistant director of residential education. While working at the university, he earned Advisor of the Year awards from the Pacific Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls and Intermountain Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls. In 2020, Orlando T. White brought his experience to Stanford University, where he serves as an associate dean. In his work, he oversees the recruitment and training of student leaders serving a number of residential communities on Stanford's campus. He also works on the residential education leadership team and leads experiential learning programs for on-campus students. Prior to starting his career, Mr. White earned an masters in public administration from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, where he was admitted into the Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society. He also holds a bachelor's degree in mass communications from Colorado State University-Pueblo. Also credited as Orlando White.
