We are located along the shores of the beautiful Coleto Creek Reservoir. Take advantage of the recreation events or just sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery and wildlife native to south Texas. Camping & Picnicking
ALL VEHICLES ENTERING THE PARK MUST PURCHASE A PERMIT. Speed limits on main Park roads are 25 mph. While on camping loops or in the camping area, speed limits are 10 mph. All motor vehicles must operate on designated roads. Off-road vehicles are prohibited within all Park and Reservoir land. Garbage Pick-Up Daily - Please place at curbside between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Check in after 7:00 am. Check out by 2:00 pm. There is a maximum limit of eight (8) people per campsite and two (2) camping units per campsite, except for RVs, trailers and pop-ups. PLEASE KEEP VEHICLES ON THE CAMPING PAD OR IN A DESIGNATED PARKING LOT AND OFF THE GRASS. Maximum camping period in a given site is fourteen (14) consecutive days. At the end of this period you must vacate the Park for three (3) days (72 hours). October 1st to March 31st – unlimited stay. Persons under 18 years of age desiring to camp overnight must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or have their written permission, or be in a group supervised by a responsible adult. RESERVATIONS: Reservations may be made up to one (1) year in advance. Payment of the first day’s camping fee is required within ten (10) days of making the reservation. If the reservation is cancelled or changed 72 hours in advance, a refund of the fees will be given. Holiday reservations must be cancelled or changed 14 days in advance. QUIET HOURS: Between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am, all unnecessary noise or activities will be prohibited to allow campers a good night’s rest. GROUND FIRES ARE NOT ALLOWED. Fires are allowed in furnished facilities. The Picnic Area is open from 6:00 am until 10:00 pm. (Please remember quiet hours must be observed.) All pets must remain on a leash or be confined to a vehicle, and must be kept out of all designated swimming areas. To preserve and protect Park vegetation and animals and their habitat, the possession, use or discharge of firearms, archery equipment or fireworks is prohibited.
