Consulate General of Jamaica, Miami Message - 57th Anniversary of Independence My fellow Jamaicans, let us give thanks to God Almighty for another year of blessings as we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Independence for our island My fellow Jamaicans and friends of the Diaspora in the Southern USA, Bahamas home, Jamaica. This year is even more special as we celebrate our Diamond Jubilee year. and Cayman Islands, on behalf of the Consulate General of Jamaica I extend greetings as we give thanks for another milestone in the life of our beloved country, On behalf of the Consulate General of Jamaica, let me congratulate the celebrating 57 years as an independent and sovereign nation. members of the Jamaica Foundation of Houston (JFH) as you celebrate 42 years of Jamaicans, we stand proud as our theme for this year’s anniversary - One Nation, One People - reflects the rich cultural diversity of our people. This is indicated in exemplary support in the execution of your service to the Houston community as well as to our beloved homeland. You continue to make a difference through your our National Motto, “Out of Many One People”. Therefore, let us continue to celeinvolvement in educational, charitable and civic activities with institutions and indibrate our achievements with pride and purpose, knowing that we are able to face the viduals. Your commitment and goodwill is testament to the support you continue challenges with hope, in faith and united.
