City of Omaha
Two of the most consequential challenges our community has ever faced occurred in 2020, pandemic and protest.
It is rare as a community to have such impactful, shared experiences that change the way we live, think, and respond. Our health, patience, and confidence have been tested, but we overcome challenges together.
2020 changed the face of Omaha, for the better. We are a city of hope and a community of conscience.
2021 is the year of recovery and rebuilding; the year of unity rather than division, harmony rather than conflict, love rather than hate, compromise, equity, understanding, and trust.
We are in it together.
