Olivet University is a private Christian institution committed to preparing students for leadership, ministry, and service. Founded in 2000 as Olivet Theological College & Seminary (OTCS), it initially focused on equipping men and women for global missions. OTCS offered various study programs and distance learning opportunities to students who felt called to serve, eventually growing into a broader educational institution with a worldwide vision. In 2004, under the guidance of the late Dr. Ralph D. Winter, the institution became Olivet University. The vision was to create a learning environment where biblical truth, academic study, and practical ministry could come together in harmony. The main campus in Anza Valley, California, offers a peaceful setting for personal and spiritual growth, while additional campuses in cities such as Los Angeles, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C., extend the university’s mission nationwide. Faith and service are central to life at Olivet University. Students participate in chapel services, prayer meetings, and Bible studies that deepen their relationship with God. They also engage in community service projects, volunteering at local events, food drives, and outreach programs that reflect Christian compassion and commitment. Over the years, Olivet University has continued to grow, celebrating two decades of ministry-based education in 2024. Its graduates now serve as pastors, educators, missionaries, and nonprofit leaders worldwide. Faculty members act as mentors, guiding students both academically and spiritually, while visiting pastors and alums share valuable insights from their ministry experiences.
