May to July 2025

Global Management Academy

The OECD is excited to host the fifth edition of the Global Management Academy (GMA), designed to support the growth of talented junior professionals. The programme includes pre-event virtual sessions in May and June, four days of in-person sessions in July at the OECD Headquarters in Paris, and virtual group coaching sessions.

In collaboration with Headspring (IE Business School & Financial Times), the programme features insights from leading academics and journalists, covering management, emerging technologies, and today’s key organisational challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to expand their networks, exchange best practices, and gain valuable management skills. We look forward to welcoming your colleagues to the 2025 programme!

Programme Objectives

Develop your management and leadership skills in the context of International Financial Institutions.

Explore the most up-to-date developments in management topics, technology and geopolitics.

Network with colleagues from other IFI’s, exchange ideas, best practices and build relationships.

How is the GMA structured?

Who is the GMA for?

The programme is designed for aspiring junior staff demonstrating strong potential to lead teams in the near future and recently appointed mid-level managers with limited management experience.

The GMA is a blended programme consisting of six online sessions and a Belbin assessment, followed by four days of onsite training, with two inter-programme evening networking opportunities, and two group coaching sessions.

Learners are supported by a dedicated programme facilitator at every step, providing guidance, helping them relate the programme to their role, and ensuring they implement actionable takeaways effectively. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive a personalised certificate signed jointly by Headspring and the OECD.
