The OECD Emerging Leaders Programme (ELP) 2025 marks the 13th edition of this exceptional learning and networking experience. In collaboration with Headspring (a partnership between IE Business School and the Financial Times), the programme features expert guidance from academics, journalists, and business leaders. Together, participants will explore emerging global challenges shaped by technology, economics, and geopolitics.

We’re proud to offer this platform for emerging leaders to gain insights, exchange ideas, and build connections—and look forward to seeing the impact the 2025 ELP cohort will make!

Acquire management and leadership skills in the context of International Financial Institutions.
Learn and debate with academics and experts on the latest leadership topics.

Network with colleagues from other IFI’s, exchange ideas, best practices and build relationships.

The programme is designed for midlevel managers who have shown strong potential to assume higher levels of responsibility in the near future, and for recently appointed senior managers with limited management experience.

The ELP is a blended programme consisting of six online sessions and a Clifton Strengths assessment, followed by four days of onsite training, with two inter-programme evening networking opportunities, and two peer coaching sessions.

Learners are supported by a dedicated programme facilitator at every step, providing guidance, helping them relate the programme to their role, and ensuring they implement actionable takeaways effectively. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive a personalised certificate signed jointly by Headspring and the OECD.
