The Gunslinger, Roland Deschain, roams an Old West-like landscape where “the world has moved on” in pursuit of the man in black. Also searching for the fabled Dark Tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve his dying world. Dunkirk PG-13, Action-Adventure-Suspense-Thriller-Drama, 107 min. Cast: Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh, Mark Rylance and Harry Styles. Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Empire, Canada and France are surrounded by the German army and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War II. The Emoji Movie PG, Animation-Comedy, 120 min. Cast: T.J. Miller, Anna Faris, Sofa Vergara, Patrick Stewart and Jennifer Coolidge. Gene, a multi-expressional emoji, sets out on a journey to become a normal emoji.

When four lifelong friends travel to New Orleans for the annual Essence Festival, sisterhoods are rekindled, wild sides are rediscovered, and there’s enough dancing, drinking, brawling and romancing to make the Big Easy blush. The Hitman’s Bodyguard R, Action-Adventure, 111 min. Cast: Ryan Reynolds, Gary Oldman and Samuel L. Jackson. The world’s top bodyguard gets a new client, a hit man who must testify at the International Court of Justice. They must put their differences aside and work together to make it to the trial on time. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire PG-13, Action-Adventure, 146 min. Cast: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson. Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever. Inside Out PG, Animation, 95 min. Cast: Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Lewis Black, Bill Hader and Phyllis Smith. Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school. Following the events of the first film, Surly and his friends must stop Oakton City’s mayor from destroying their home to make way for a dysfunctional amusement park. Cast: Tom Holland, Michael Keaton and Robert Downey Jr. Following the events of Captain America: Civil War (2016), Peter Parker attempts to balance his life in high school with his career as a web-slinging superhero Spider-Man. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets PG-13, SciFi-Action-Adventure, 129 min. Cast: Dane DeHaan, Cara Delevingne and Clive Owen. A dark force threatens Alpha, a vast metropolis and home to species from a thousand planets. Special operatives Valerian and Laureline must race to identify the marauding menace and safeguard not just Alpha, but the future of the universe. War for the Planet of the Apes PG-13, Action-Adventure-Drama, 140 min. Cast: Toby Kebbell, Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Judy Greer and Steve Zahn. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. Wish Upon PG-13, Fantasy-Horror-Thriller, 90 min. Cast: Ryan Phillippe, Elisabeth Rhm, Joey King, Ki Hong Lee and Shannon Purser. A teenage girl discovers a box that carries magic powers and a deadly price for using them.
