In addition to tuition and fees, students in the Utility Lineworker Program are required to have the climbing and hand tools listed below. Cost for the tools and climbing gear for each student will be included in the invoice with tuition. (For more information on required equipment refer to “Associated Costs” on page 25.) NLC works closely with leading utility and construction companies to identify widely utilized tools in the industry. We then work with manufacturers and distributors to secure discounted prices. Though manufacturer and distributor prices fluctuate, every effort is made to ensure NLC students receive the lowest prices possible.
