All people have their own paths to achievement. Some seem to fall into opportunities. Then, there are those like Sergio and Sheila Manriquez. The husband-wife team at Allie Beth Allman & Associates are two of the region’s Rising Star REALTORS®. They’ve attained success through goal-setting and careful planning. In turn, step by step, they are reaching their destiny by design. Combining Paths Before entering real estate, Sergio worked in investment wholesaling

with companies such as Wells Fargo and Chase on the banking side. In the meantime, Sheila had worked as a team administrator for a tax consulting firm. She also worked at SMU in the Planning, Design and Construction Department. She additionally worked at JP Morgan Chase, Texas Capital Bank, and Hillwood, a Perot company. Sergio and Sheila both attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) and graduated in 2010. In 2011, they got married and started the next chapter of their lives together.
As they pursued their corporate careers, they took a perspective-changing journey together. “In 2015, Sheila and I went to Europe. During our time there, we noticed that life was different,” Sergio recalls. “They aren’t running the rat race like we do here in America. We started reading a lot of self-improvement books and growing in our faith. And, we felt that we needed to design our own destiny. We both graduated from SMU with economics degrees. So, we thought, ‘Let’s get out of our comfort zones, which is corporate America.’”
