Keeping the History of Dingmans Ferry Alive!

Spring is hopefully just around the corner know matter what the ground hog predicted! We have been busy over these past few months with the continuation of our Museum project. If you were at the grand re-opening last fall, you will now find some new changes and additions to the Veterans exhibit, and the Dingmans Village room, as well as in other areas. We will be continuing our work there indefinitely, as additional historical items and information becomes available. The Museum will be open twice a month beginning March thru November. The times and dates are posted on our website www.dingmansferryhistoricalsociety.org

Our website has been expanded and updated. There is now a page entitled Memory Lane. This page highlights the life and history of members who have passed and will forever be a part of our history. In addition to our Memory Lane page, our Calendar page has been updated, now displaying the times and dates of our Boards meetings that are held monthly at the Museum and open to all members. Times and dates of our monthly programs are also posted on the Calendar, as well as special programs that are open to members only. Further details of ‘members only programs’ will be provided to members via email.

2022 Membership dues of $10.00 per person or $20.00 per family are now due. Your dues will provide free unlimited entrance to the Museum, private pre-arranged Museum tours, admission to the private members-only programs, admittance to a member’s picnic at the Museum and the members Annual Meeting and Luncheon. Please forward payment to renew your membership, or to join, to Dingmans Ferry-Delaware Township Historical Society, 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328. Application forms for membership renewal or to initially join are required and available on our website.
