anther Pride was clearly evident at a recent dinner celebrating the achievements of five outstanding graduates of Pequannock Township High School. These highly successful graduates were the most recent former students to be inducted into the PTHS Hall of Fame. From a group of noteworthy candidates, the five were selected after a careful review of the accomplishments of all the nominees by the Hall of Fame Committee. The selection committee considered candidates who exemplify leadership, scholarship, character and service, and chose from a wide variety of fields those who had made outstanding contributions. Each candidate was introduced by someone who had sponsored them or knew them well and, following this, each spoke about their lives and careers. The first honoree was Col. Tia E. Henderson, commander of the Education Support Squadron, Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. A 1992 PTHS graduate, Henderson attended the United States Air Force Academy., got married and has two children.
She has served in a variety of command, joint, and staff positions throughout her career in the Air Force. She is currently responsible for a diverse squadron of professionals who provide support in multiple ways to 32,000 students in Air University’s Officer Professional Military Education colleges and academic research centers. Prior to her current assignment, she was the military assistant to the assistant secretary of defense for readiness, based at the Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Professor Michael T. Cahill was the next to be honored. Following high school graduation, Cahill received a B.A. from Yale University and J.D. and M.P.P. degrees from the University of Michigan, graduating magna cum laude and working on the Michigan Law Review. With a career focusing on Criminal Law, Cahill was both associate dean and vice dean at Brooklyn Law School. Married and the father of two he joined the Rutgers Law School faculty in July 2016, where he is co-dean and a professor of law. As evidence of the wide-ranging career choic-
