Monthly drills are held the second Sunday morning and the fourth Monday evening of the month. Work sessions are each Monday evening. The annual election is in June. The Ladies Auxiliary is the support group for the fire company. The group sponsors flower sales for Easter and Mother’s Day, and holds other fundraisers during the year. In addition to supporting the firefighters, the group has raised money for FAITH Food Pantry, Women Involved in Newtown (WIN), The Newtown Fund, the Connecticut Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital, Hearts of Hope, and Ben’s Bells. New members are always welcome. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm at the fire company’s main station.
