Mackie celebrates milestones
// I.B. MCINTYRE AND CO HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 52 YEARS AND RECENTLY IT HONOURED ITS LONGEST STANDING STAFF MEMBER, DENNIS PULLINGER’S 50 TH YEAR OF SERVICE AT THE COMPANY //
The company name I.B. McIntyre and Co originated from the founder, Ian Bell McIntyre. The company started off as an agency business but was only officially registered in 1966. The company was only two years in operation when in 1968, Dennis started to work part-time for Ian whilst studying at the University of Cape Town completing his BCom degree.
In December 1969 Dennis became the main shareholder of I.B. McIntyre. The company moved into its new premises close to Paarden Eiland post office and only a year later Ian McIntyre passed away.

With the loss of his partner, Dennis needed help and recruited Michel Davids from Skipskop. Michel is still employed at I.B. McIntyre and with 49 years of dedication and had work under his belt, will soon be joining Dennis with a 50 Year Long Service award. At a recent celebration of these milestones, Regan Lamb was appointed as the financial director.
The company has expanded into all market sectors providing a broad range of products, with professional end user consultants to share knowledge and grow businesses.
