Now Hear This® is one of the few Triangle practices that performs REM with every fitting—because without it, programming relies on guesswork instead of your ear’s unique acoustic “fingerprint.” We can utilize REM on hearing aids purchased elsewhere, so feel free to come our way for a second opinion!
ELECTROACOUSTIC ANALYSIS

Electroacoustic Analysis (EAA) is a specialized test that shows exactly how a hearing aid is performing—often spotting problems patients mistake for worsening hearing loss. Few providers use it, but it’s the only way to confirm a device is working like new, with proper volume, full frequency range, clear sound, working microphones, and normal battery life. EAA helps us catch issues early, ensure timely repairs, and keep our patients hearing their best.
