Blumenthal Performing Arts Center presents one of the largest Broadway seasons in the Carolinas, hosting more than 18 weeks of shows annually. The theater also puts on a large array of special attractions and festivals from concerts to comedy, dance, the Charlotte Jazz Festival and much more. More than 150,000 students participate annually in its student-focused programs, inspiring them to pursue careers in the theater arts.
The caring instructors at King Tiger Tae Kwon Do teach students of all ages valuable self-defense skills, help engage them in physical activities and empower them with useful tools and skills to lead a healthier, more successful life. Grandmaster Evins, who has been training in martial arts since age six, teaches lifelong skills and techniques that help students develop character and become more confident.
Discovery Place Kids is the ultimate children’s museum that allows young minds to be creative and explore their world through hands-on STEM learning. The regional children’s museum offers experiences that encourage interactive learning through imagination and fun. It aspires to shape a future where people embrace science to create opportunities, build hope, solve problems and bring positive world change.
