Under the direction of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the National Defense University (NDU) is the nation’s premier institution for senior leadership development and national security preparedness. As the philanthropic component of the National Defense University, the NDU Foundation partners with corporations, other foundations, private industry, and individuals on vital initiatives that the University would not be able to pursue independently.
