Every 15 minutes in Africa, an elephant is killed for its tusks. 54% of rhinos were massacred, only 30,000 remain. The last black rhino in Africa died recently. 50% of the population of sharks has been destroyed in 10 years. 3000 gorillas; 4000 chimpanzees are murdered each year, their babies are captured to make pets or in zoos or are sacrificed. 85% of the lion population was exterminated during the past 60 years. Leopards, cheetahs, hippos and other iconic African species suffer the same massacre.
